Today, we look at the region of Bordeaux. The vineyards of Bordeaux are split into sections by the Garonne (Left-Bank) and Dordogne (Right-Bank) Rivers. The Left-Bank Bordeaux are predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon-based while Right-Bank Bordeaux have higher percentages of Merlot as part of their blends.
